These blocks are manufactured by a local supplier Viblock in Earnscleugh – they have a low environmental impact, thermal mass and offer sound insulation.
“Half round guttering has been used instead of the usual quarter round gutter – this gives a more unique finish.”
Cara said the decision to run James Hardie stria board horizontally outside, along with the cedar areas contributed to the impactful look of the exterior.
A lighter white colour scheme is used throughout the home which will allow people to add their own personal touches through decor and furnishings once they move in.
The home promises year round comfort; with a ducted heat pump, wood burner, double glazing, insulated rib raft foundation, 140mm wall frames and insulated garage and garage door.
Flooring is quick step laminate, and 100% wool carpet from Flooring Xtra Godfrey Hirst will mean warm toes for residents.
